Geneva Chao

Geneva Chao's first memory is of visiting the National Zoo in Washington, D.C., before she was born. She is still jealous of the enormous yellow lollipop her brother is enjoying in the pictures. Her favorite things are oceans, grapefruits, E.L. Konigsberg's novels and Emily Dickinson's poetry, jellyfish in aquariums, Parisian ice cream stands, the state of California, reciting the St. Crispin's Day speech from Henry V, and dismantling social injustices. When she is not teaching college, she can be found putting too much green sauce on her tacos.
