Kelly Pousette

Kelly Pousette is an illustrator and story teller, originally from the west coast of British Columbia. Although she graduated with a degree in Anthropology and Geography, her heart was always set on illustration. Primarily self taught, she experiments with both traditional and non-traditional techniques often incorporating mixed media such as paper-cut pieces and shadowboxes. Kelly creates magical, whimsical stories and scenes incorporating woodland critters and dynamic characters. Instagram featured Kelly’s work in December 2016 and her followers now number over 22,000. Her work has also been featured in The Huffington Post Paris, The Brown Paper Bag Blog, and Brightness Magazine. Kelly currently resides in Northern British Columbia with her husband and very large dog Clovis. Their frequent outdoor adventures only help to encourage Kelly's imagination. Visit
