Linda Olafsdottir

Linda Olafsdottir is an Icelandic author and illustrator. She has illustrated numerous children’s books and has been honored with nominations and awards for her work. Linda was nominated for the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award in 2013, she has received nominations for the Icelandic Literary Awards, won Reykjavik’s Best Picture Book Illustration and is on IBBY’s (International Board of Books for Young Readers) honor list. Her debut picture book PLAY? (Cameron Kids, 2017) as an author and illustrator has been translated to French and Icelandic. Including the titles that Linda has illustrated is Sam McBratney’s (author of Guess How Much I love You) picture book Mindi and the Goose No One Else Could See (Walker Books/Candlewick, 2021) and Here is Iceland and Reykjavík barnanna (Forlagið).
