Michelle Garcia Andersen
Michelle grew up in southern Oregon and moved to Eugene, where she went to school and met her husband. Several years later, they moved back to southern Oregon where they live in the country just five minutes from the house she grew up in. Michelle was a teacher for many years and her favorite part of the day was always read aloud. She is delighted to be writing picture books for children; it has been a lifelong dream of hers. When she’s not reading and writing, she enjoys hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, walking her dogs, gardening and anything else that gets her outdoors. Michelle and her husband have three teenage kids and live in a home full of laughter.
