Terri Farley
Terri Farley’s twenty-three-book Phantom Stallion series with Harper Collins has sold over a million copies, captured a loyal worldwide fan-base, and launched a spin-off series, Wild Horse Island. Her 2009 young-adult romance/contemporary fantasy, Seven Tears into the Sea was an ALA Best Book for Young Adults. Among other honors, Terri received a Silver Pen Award for mid-career excellence from the Nevada Writers Hall of Fame. As a former teacher, Terri is a member of the National Council of Teachers of English as well as the International Reading Association and is a popular speaker with both kids and teachers. Terri often focuses her presentations on her passion for protecting the West’s wild horses, acted as a humane observer during the Bureau of Land Management’s helicopter round-ups and has broken important stories about the treatment of captive mustangs.
