Aimée Bissonette is a retired lawyer and teacher who writes for kids and adults. Her picture books are inspired by her love of nature and history and include North Woods Girl, Headstrong Hallie, Shipwreck Reefs and Dragonfly. In addition to her books for children, Aimée has published a book for K-12 teachers and administrators on the legal issues associated with technology in the schools. Aimée is rarely without her dog or her granddaughter and is almost always outside. She splits her time between Minnesota and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
