Annie Silvestro is a lover of books and the author of Bunny’s Book Club, Mice Skating, Butterflies on the
First Day of School, Bravo, Little Bird!, and Signs of Friendship, among other titles. She got her start
working in NYC in the editorial departments of Harper’s Bazaar, Talk, and Allure magazines. Now, Annie
lives with her family by the beach in New Jersey where she laughs loudly and often. When she is not
reading or writing (and even when she is), she can usually be found drinking tea, eating pasta, or baking
cookies. The library is her favorite place, but she also enjoys wandering and pondering in forests,
museums, and bookstores.
