A fine choice for inspiring future scientists.” The book received an additional starred review from Booklist as well as a Bank Street Best Book of the Year 2022 and an NSTA/CBC Outstanding Science Trade Book. Ginger Rue is the author of eight novels for teens, tweens, and children, including the Aleca Zamm series by Aladdin/Simon&Schuster, and is also a contributing editor for Guideposts, a magazine with four million readers. Her work has also appeared in Family Circle, Teen Vogue, Seventeen, and other national media outlets. Ginger lives with her husband in Alabama. They have three grown children and a very spoiled shelter dog named Cookie.
