Hilary Horder Hippely (A Song for Lena, Adventure on Klickitat Island, I Know How to Draw an Owl ) attended Cornell University and has degrees in Creative Writing and English Literature from the University of Washington and an AA in Early Childhood Education. She feels lucky that she has been able to spend her whole life doing what she loves most: reading, writing, and watching children learn and play. She lives in Seattle, WA with her husband, near their grown children and families.
