Jackie Thomson is an illustrator and author based in the Pacific Northwest. She earned a BFA in Painting and later, during a painting residency, met a group of illustrators and quickly realized that illustration was where she fit in. Her work explores landscapes and character narratives with themes of adventure, mystery, and finding oneself, always with a little humor. She primarily works in watercolor, gouache, pen and colored pencil from her sunny attic studio. When she’s not in the studio, you’ll probably find her reading in the garden. She’s interested in working on picture books and board books for all ages.
Jackie is represented by Abigail Samoun.
