Jennifer P. Goldfinger is a children’s book author/illustrator as well as a fine artist. She lives in Portland, Maine with her husband, their dog Mabel, and sometimes two daughters, when they fly home to the nest. Jen’s studio is by an industrial part of the bay with large working boats out her window, trains chugging by and airplane bellies directly overhead landing in the airport nearby. Her most recent book, DAISY THE DAYDREAMER was published by Neal Porter Books/Holiday House. It stems from her memory as a child who had trouble listening in school because her mind was full of other more interesting things. Her previous books were published by Little, Brown, Clarion Books, Scholastic and HarperCollins. Jennifer’s fine art is collected internationally and she’s an exhibiting artist at Rice Polak Gallery in Provincetown, MA.
