Justine Macauley writes books for young adult readers. She was born and raised in the Bay Area of California and was a founding staff member at a K-12 progressive school in San Francisco, where she lives and works. When she’s not handing out bandaids or celebrating stories with her students, she writes and paints, and loves foggy early mornings at the ocean.
