Kami Kinard is the author of the humorous middle grade novels, The Boy Problem and The Boy Project, both published with Scholastic. Her poetry, stories, articles, and essays have appeared in numerous periodicals for children and adults. She enjoys writing everything from picture books to fantasy, usually adding a twist of humor. An award-winning former educator, Kami owns a thriving small business in the heart of Beaufort SC, a historic seaside town. She also writes a light-hearted recurring news feature, critiques manuscripts, and serves as an executive officer on the board of a multi-state nonprofit. A board game enthusiast, she loves sharing free time with family and friends trying out new games and revisiting old favorites.
