Lauren Kasiarz (she/her) writes picture books that celebrate Jewish identity, heritage, and modern multicultural experiences. As a granddaughter of Holocaust survivors and parent to multiracial Jewish children, she writes stories that inspire resilience as well as promote empathy and understanding.
Beyond her writing pursuits, Lauren is a board member of 3GNJ, a Holocaust education organization, and often shares her grandfather’s story of Holocaust survival in schools. She is a 2025 #PBParty Finalist, was invited to attend the 2024 PJ Library Picture Book Summer Camp at the Highlights Foundation, and has been published in online magazines such as Kveller. Lauren also uplifts diverse representation in Jewish children’s books on Instagram.
