Monica Clark-Robinson

Monica Clark-Robinson is passionate about stories–writing them, acting them out on stage, and reading them. She believes that the stories of our past and our present can help us create a better future. She is the author of “Let the Children March,” which was a Coretta Scott King Honor Book for Illustration, a Kirkus Best Book, received several starred reviews, and won the ILA Debut Award for Nonfiction. Her most recent book, “Standing On Her Shoulders,” was a Spring 2021 Junior Library Guild Gold choice. She lives in a yurt in the wilds of Arkansas with her spouse, four chickens, three dogs, far too many cats, and just the right amount of daughters.

Monica (she/her) is represented by Sarah Stephens.
