Norman Morana is an author-illustrator working in fine art and children’s publishing. He grew up on the Southern Oregon Coast, where the sea lions could be heard barking from his backyard. After high school Norman moved to Portland, Oregon and earned his BFA in Media Arts & Animation. Norman started his career working on a small number of animation projects throughout the Portland area before transitioning to focus on illustration. He shares his life in Beaverton, Oregon with his lovely wife and their handsome cat, Dimitri.
