Lisa Rumsey Harris
Lisa Rumsey Harris grew up writing stories and riding horses in Southeastern Idaho. She received a bachelor’s and master’s degree in English from Brigham Young University. Since Fall 2000, she has taught writing and English courses at BYU. She also teaches ACT prep courses. In November 2012, her first adult novel, The Unlikely Gift of Treasure Blume was released by Cedar Fort Press. Currently, she’s working on both middle grade and young adult novels. She lives in the mountains of Utah with her multi-talented husband, four sassy daughters, one fluffy dog, and one evil cat.
