Lori Haskins Houran
Lori Haskins Houran grew up in Maine, where she often could be found in a tree, reading. After college she moved to New York to become a children’s book editor. She also started writing books of her own. Her first book was published in 1996, and she’s written about fifty more since then.
These days Lori lives on the North Shore of Massachusetts with her husband, four boys, and two rescue dogs. Every summer she goes back to Maine, where you might find her in a tree, reading.
