Sarah Warren

Publishers Weekly called Sarah Warren’s debut picture book, Dolores Huerta: A Hero to Migrant Workers "a stirring portrait,” while School Library Journal wrote, “through spare, accessible text, youngsters learn about the conditions of California grape pickers in the 1960s.”

Sarah is an early childhood educator who earned her Master of Arts from Lesley University and graduated from the Loft Literary Center's Master Track writing apprenticeship program in 2006. Dolores Huerta: A Hero to Migrant Workers was picked for the 2013 Amelia Bloomer Top Ten Book List and awarded a Jane Addams Peace Association Children’s Book Award honor that same year.
